   Community is very important but without spiritual development and outreach beyond ourselves we miss the fuller life we could have.

   Depends on what you mean by “community.”

   A social gathering for a polite and proper culturally-appropriate activity on Sunday morning
   or
   people gathering as the body of Christ,
   striving to be the love and grace of God,
   living in compassion and justice, and
   offering generosity and hospitality and service to all in need.
